The August Food Pantry Day served 64 families (250+ people) and there were 10 emergency cases during the month. It was the first time we literally ran out of food! Thank you everyone for your wonderful support, especially those delicious cakes. We especially need your help again to re-stock an empty pantry! Epworth's assigned food items are: cereal and oatmeal, tea and hot chocolate, powdered or evaporated milk, instant coffee, kids juice boxes, instant potatoes, rice, mac & cheese, pasta and spaghetti, and spaghetti sauce. We have also exhausted our supply of both plastic and paper bags, so start bringing them in again. Thank You once again and God Bless! The Food Pantry Team |
