ASH WEDNESDAY ~ February 14, 2024

On Ash Wednesday, we invite you to begin your Lent season of reflection and spiritual practice with the imposition of Ashes. The Triboro Clergy will have a service at Bethany Lutheran Church at 7PM on Wednesday, February 14th. Pastor Rachel will be preaching. You may also receive ashes in our church office by Pastor Rachel between 8am and noon on that same day.

LENTEN SUNDAY SOUP SUPPERS ~ Sunday Evenings at 5pm

Our Lenten Soup Suppers begin on Sunday, February 18 at 5pm and each Sunday throughout Lent. We will be  together in the Gathering Place where we enjoy a simple soup supper and then a lesson. Zoom will be available for those who prefer to be at home. Click here for the Zoom link.

LENTEN BIBLE STUDY ~  

For Lent, our Wednesday Night Bible Study on ZOOM with Asbury UMC will be discussing the book, “Entering the Passion of Jesus: A Beginner’s Guide to Holy Week” by Amy-Jill Levine, a Jewish scholar who is a professor in New Testament Studies. Pastor Rachel will have books available before the first session.

PALM SUNDAY & EASTER EGG HUNT    March 24, 2024

Complete with children waving palms this service bridges the gap from the hosannas of Palm Sunday with the start of Holy Week. Following the service we invite our youngsters to join in the fun of an Easter Egg Hunt.

On Good Friday Asbury UMC in Cinnaminson is hosting a time of reflection on the Seven Words of Jesus beginning at noon. You are invited to come and go as you will throughout the 3 hour time of scriptures and meditation. An additional service will be held at Central Baptist at 6:30pm.

LAKEVIEW EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE   March 31, 2024   6:30am

The annual sunrise service takes place at Lakeview Cemetery on Route 130N in Cinnaminson and is always well attended as we greet Easter morning worshipping with those from the triboro area. Several area clergy participate along with the Stillwaters Band.
